Swap details with a single scan.
A LilyPad is the small set of details you decide to hand someone. They scan it, and you are in each other’s contacts, spelled right, first try.
Free on every plan. Sharing and scanning are built for a phone.
You decide what leaves your hands.
A paper card gives everyone the same thing. A LilyPad does not. You pick the fields for each one you make, and nothing you left off is included.
You choose what is on it
Name and photo, phone, email, current city, what you do, birthday. Turn on the ones you want to send. You see the exact list before you share it.
One scan, no typing
They open YourPond, point their camera at your code, and your details arrive already spelled right. Nobody reads a phone number out loud.
It expires in an hour
A LilyPad is a snapshot of what you chose, not a live link to your profile. It is good for one claim, it expires an hour after you make it, and you can revoke it before then.
It arrives as a real contact.
What you receive is not a screenshot and not a link you have to keep. It is the fields the other person chose, laid out the way a YourPond profile is, ready to save.
Save it and their name, photo, city and job are already filled in. If they look like someone you already have, YourPond says so before you end up with two of them.
Then it is an ordinary contact. Add how you met, set a reminder to follow up, put them on a list.
What a LilyPad is not.
Does the other person need YourPond?
Yes. A LilyPad is passed account to account: they scan your code inside the YourPond app and it lands in their contacts. That is what lets it arrive as structured fields instead of a picture of a phone number. It is free to sign up.
Is it a live link to my profile?
No. It is a snapshot of the fields you turned on at the moment you made it. Update your own profile afterwards and the LilyPad you already sent does not change, because it was never pointed at your profile in the first place.
How long does it last?
An hour. It is also good for one claim, so once someone takes it, it is done. You can revoke it before either of those happens.
What if I already have that person?
YourPond checks before it saves. If the details look like someone already in your contacts, it tells you and lets you merge instead of adding a duplicate.
Does it cost anything?
No. Sharing and claiming a LilyPad are free on every plan, including the free tier.
Make your first one.
