Five small things a day.
Importing your contacts takes a second. Filling in what you actually know about those people is the part that never happens. YourPond Care makes it five questions, one tap each, and then it stops.
Included free. YourPond is free up to 25 contacts.
The water rises as you fill it in.
The YourPond Care card sits at the top of your home screen and shows how full things are. Not a score out of a hundred and not a nag. Just a level that goes up when you answer something, and a count of the days in a row you have shown up.
Answer everything for the day and the card says so, the frog dozes off, and it tells you to come back tomorrow. That is the entire reward, and it is enough.
A round that ends.
Tap Tend YourPond and you get five questions about people already in your contacts. Where does she live now. How close are the two of you. What does he do these days. Each one is a tap, and the dashed bar across the top shows how much is left.
Want a shorter round, or a longer one? Change the round length before you start. Want out halfway? End the round. It never asks you to keep going.
What you get for the trouble.
A contact list that knows things. Cities, jobs, how you met, who is related to whom. That is what makes reminders land with something to say and what gives Ripples anything to draw.
If you would rather do it in bulk, describe a batch of people in your own words and let YourPond pull the details out. That is Describe: every plan includes three descriptions a month, and Pro raises the limit to 100. Tending is the free way, five at a time.
Questions people ask.
How long does a round take?
A round is five questions by default, one tap each. You can make it shorter or longer before you start, and you can end it early at any point.
What does it ask me?
Small, specific gaps in the contacts you already have. Where does this person live now, how close are the two of you, what do they do. Nothing it could work out for itself.
Is tending part of the web app?
No. The round is built for a phone: five questions, one tap each, done standing in a queue. The web home carries the YourPond Care card, but tending is not a web flow.
Does it cost anything?
No. Tending is free. If you would rather fill in a lot of people at once by describing them in your own words, that is Describe: every plan includes three descriptions a month, and Pro raises the limit to 100.
What happens if I skip a day?
Nothing bad. The streak counter resets and the questions are still there tomorrow. There is no penalty and no nagging.
Tend it tomorrow, and the day after.
Five a day adds up faster than you would think. Start with the contacts you already have.
Free up to 25 contacts. No credit card required.
