Your contact book should know how to throw a party

I built events into YourPond for a simple reason: your people are already here.
Your contact book already knows who your friends are, how you know them and what you've done together. So when you want to get everyone together, that's where you should start. You shouldn't need one app for your people and another to invite them.
Then the event doesn't disappear when it ends. It stays with you as a moment, so over the years you can look back and see who was there. Ten years of birthday dinners, trips and random Tuesday nights, and the people who were at each one.
My favorite part is the stamps. You can add stamps to an event, and everyone going who's on YourPond collects them once it starts. Run a marathon with your best friend (you'll each confirm you crossed the finish line), go hang gliding in Switzerland, or finally do that thing you've been talking about for three years. You'll both have the stamp to prove it.
That's really what this is about. I want you off your phone and out in the real world with people you love, keeping track of the life you're actually living.
So who are you going to invite first?
